The image shown above is of the great leader Subhas Chandra Bose. Affectionately called Netaji, he was one of the most prominent leaders of Indian freedom struggle. In 1939, he organised a new party called Forward Bloc whose immediate objective was the liberation of India with the support of peasants, youths and other radical organisations. In 1943, he also revived the Indian National Army also known as the Azad Hind Fauz which incited the armed forces to revolt against the British Raj.
