Total runs scored by the batsman in 20 innings =20×35=700
Total runs scored by the batsman in 18 innings after excluding 2 innings =18×32=576
Total scored of excluded innings =700576=124
It is given that the scores of the excluded innings differ by 50.
Let's take best score as x+50 and worst score as x.
Now, x+50+x=124
2x=74
x=37
The best score of the batsman =37+50=87
