For C13:

Binding energy per nucleon =7.5 MeV

Binding energy=13×7.5=97.5 MeV

For C12:

Binding energy =12×7.68=92.16 MeV

Energy required to remove a neutron,

ΔE=97.592.16=5.34 MeV
