The breadth of the rectangle is four-fifth of its length . Find the length and breadth, if the perimeter of the rectangle is $180cm$.

Let the length of the rectangle be $x$ cm then according to the problem breadth is $\frac{4x}{5}$ cm.

Then perimeter will be $2(x+\frac{4x}{5})=\frac{18x}{5}$ cm.

Then according to the problem we've,

$\frac{18x}{5}=180$

or, $x=50$.

So length is $50$ cm and breadth is $40$ cm.
