Area of 4 walls $= 2 (l + b) h = 2 (12.5 + 9) \times 7 = 301 m^{2}$

Area of doors and windows $= 2 (2.5 \times 1.2) + 4 (1.5 \times 1) = 12 m^{2}$

Area to be painting $= (301 - 12) = 289 m^{2}$

Hence, cost of painting $= R s . 289 \times 3.5 = R s . 1011.50$
