Solution
The increasing order of boiling point is C2H5OCH3<C2H5CH3<C2H5Cl<C2H5OH → in C2H5OH (i) C-O bond is polar & form hydrogen bonding in H2O → in C2H5Cl→ C-Cl bond is polar but less than that of C-O bond so boiling point of C2H5Cl is less than that of C2H5OH → in C2H5OH3→ C-O bond are polar but the weak polarity of ethers do not appreciably affect their boiling points and are lower than that of alkane.
