Let the breadth of the rectangle be x cm.
Then, the length of the rectangle will be x + 3 cm.
Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 × (length + breadth) = 2 (x + 3 + x)
It is given that perimeter of the rectangle is 30 cm.
∴ 2 (x + 3 + x) = 30 is the required equation.
