Solution

The correct option is D A= Rs. 2,400; B= Rs. 3,600.
Let the M.P of the article A=Rs.x
Then M.P of the article B =Rs(6000x)
Then according to the question

8100x+10100(6000x)=552

8x100+60010x100=552

8x10010x100=552600

2x100=48

x=48002=2400

Hence M.P of article A =Rs.2400
Then M.P of article B=60002400=Rs.2600
