Question

The molar conductivities at infinite dilution of KCl,KNO3 and AgNO3 at 298 K are 0.01499 mho m2mol1,0.01250 mho m2mol1 and 0.01334 mho m2mol1 respectively. What is the molar conductivity of AgCl infinite dilution at this temperature?

Solution

we have,
KCl+AgNO3 KNO3+AgCl

molar conductivity of reactant = molar conductivity of product
0.01499 + 0.013344 = 0.01250 + molar conductivity of AgCl

molar conductivity of AgCl = 0.0158 mhom2mol1
