We have given that,
Perimeter of the square $=$ perimeter of the rectangle
Let $L$ and $B$ are the length and breadth of rectangle
$\Rightarrow 4\times sides=2\times (length+breadth)$
$\Rightarrow 4\times 15cm=2\times (18cm+B)$
$\Rightarrow 60cm=2\times (18cm+B)$
$\Rightarrow B=(30-18)cm=12cm$
Area of the rectangular block
$\Rightarrow length\times breadth=(18\times 12)c{m}^2=216c{m}^2$
