Solution

The correct option is C -5
Given:

23 X(X+4)+3=Y + 23 X5

Take LCM (3X) on both sides,

2(X + 4) + 3(3 X)3 X=Y + 2 5(3 X)3 X

The denominator of all the terms are same. So, by removing the denominator,

2(X+4)+3(3X)=Y+25(3X)

2X+8+93X=Y+215+5X

2X3X5X=Y+21589

6X=Y30

6X=630

6X=24

6X=24

X=4

The value of X is 4.
