Given : R100=100Ω ,T1=100oC ,R=200Ω , α=0.005 per oC

Step 1: Relation between resistance and temperature

R=R0(1+α(T2T1))

where α is the temperature coefficient of resistance.

So, R=R100(1+α(T2T1)) ....(1)

Step-2: Final temperature
Putting values of R100,T1,R,α in equation (1), we get
200=100(1+0.005(T2100))
Or, T2100=200
T2=300oC

Hence, Option A is correct.
