The taxi charges in a city consist of a fixed charge together with the charge for the distance covered. For a distance of 10km, the charge paid is Rs.315. and for adistnace of 15km, the charge paid is Rs.465. What are the fixed charges and the charge per km ? How much does a person have to pay for travelling a distance of 32km ?

Let fixed charge of taxi=x
Charge per km distance=y
Now, According to question,
x+10y=105(1)x+15y=155.....(2)
Now, equation (2)(1)
y=10,x=5
Charge for travelling a distance of 25km=5+(10×25)=255
