Given information:
Initial pressure of the gas P1=1 atm
Initial temperature of the gas T1=T K
Final temperature of the gas T2=2T K
Final Pressure of the gas P2=?
From Gay Lussac's law, P1T1=P2T2 at constant volume.

1T=P22T

Hence, P2=2 atm

Increase in pressure =21=1 atm

Percentage increase in pressure =increase in pressureinitial pressure×100=11×100=100 %
