Three organisational barriers to communication are:

1. Compound structure: The communication is affected by a greater number of management levels in the business organization. More the levels of communication, the communication gets delayed and may change before reaching the receiver.
2. Organizational rules: Organizations have the rule regarding as in what message and mode of communication should be chosen. And due to the stringent rules, the employees escape themselves from sending any message.
3. Hierarchical position: The communication should be formal between the low level management employees and high level management.
