Solution

The correct option is C 12

The capacitors are in parallel, which implies that the potential difference across both the capacitors will be 1V.

Now, the charge on 8 μF capacitor, Q1=8×1=8 μC

The charge on 16 μF capacitor, Q2=16×1=16 μC

So, Q1Q2=12
Why this Question ?
In parallel combination of capacitors, the potential difference across the capacitors remains same, however, the charges are different.
