Two metallic spheres of radii $r_{1}$ and $r_{2}$ having charge $q_{1}$ and $q_{2}$ initially. if two spheres are connected by metallic wire then how charge distributes between two spheres.

As the sphere are connected by a thin wire, their electric potentials are same

so, redistribution of charge takes place.

here using the logic of charge density we can say $σ α \frac{1}{r}; s u r f a c e c h a r g e d e n s i t y f o r s p h e r e$
As we know, $V_{a} = V_{b} ⟹ \frac{K Q_{1}}{r_{1}} = \frac{K Q_{2}}{r_{2}}$
$\frac{σ_{1} r_{1}^{2}}{r_{1}} = \frac{σ_{2} r_{2}^{2}}{r_{2}}$
$σ r = c o n s t a n t$

more is the curvature lesser will be the charge density.
