The correct option is B $b^{4} - a^{4}$
$(a^{2} + b^{2}) (- a^{2} + b^{2}) = (b^{2} + a^{2}) (b^{2} - a^{2})$
$= (b^{2})^{2} - (a^{2})^{2}$
[Using: $(a + b) (a - b) = a^{2} - b^{2}$ ]
$= b^{4} - a^{4}$
