Mrs. Pandit respected Gandhiji and always followed his wise words. On several occasions in her life it was Gandhiji's words that showed her the way. Gandhiji too guided Mrs. Pandit out of her misery after her husband's death. Hence, it can be said that Mrs. Pandit and Gandhiji shared a mentor and mentee relationship.
