what is antimatter why it is not produced often

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student
According to particle physics, antimatter is the composition of antiparticles in a similar way as matter composed of particles having the same mass, average lifetime, spin, magnitude of magnetic moments but possess opposite charges, opposite intrinsic parity and opposite direction of magnetic moment is called an anti particle.
The production of antimatter required very high energy particle collisions. That is why it is not produced often.
