When a external electromotive force is induced to the diode then it is called as biasing diode.
Forward biasing Reverse biasing
$1$ . Positive terminal of the diode connected to P-region and the negative terminal of the diode is connected to n-region. $1$ . Positive terminal of the Diode is connected to n-region and negative terminal of the diode is connected to P-region.
