  1. B cells are responsible for humoral immunity.
  2. The adaptive immunity manifested by the production of antibodies by B lymphocytes is known as humoral immunity.

T Cells:

  1. T cells are responsible for cell-mediated immunity.
  2. The immunity mediated by T-cells by directly attaching themselves to the antigens is known as cell-mediated immunity.
