The generative cell in the pollen grain produces two sperm nuclei. One sperm nucleus fuses with egg cell in embryo sac to produce zygote (syngamy) while the other sperm nucleus fuses with the two polar nuclei to produce endosperm (triple fusion). This way of fertilisation is known as double fertilisation.
