Given parameters are:

M1=0.1M

M2=0.5M

V1=?

V2=100ml

Balanced equation is:

10FeSO4+2KMnO4+8H2SO4=5Fe2SO4+2MnSO4+K2SO4+8H2O

Thus no. of moles of KMnO4 , n1 is 2

and of FeSO4 , n2 is 10.

Thus formula based on the concept of stoichiometry.

n2×M1×V1=n1×M2×V2

10×0.1×V1=2×0.5×100

V1=100ml

Therefore volume will be 100 ml.
