Question
What weight of oxygen gas will number of molecules as 56g of nitrogen gas? How?
Open in App
Solution
Atomic mass of N2(nitrogen gas) is 28.
so 56 gram of N2 contains
2 mole N2 =2× 6.022×10^23
so we also need 2 mole of oxygen (O2)
as 1 mole oxygen=32 grams
so 2 mole oxygen=64 grams
hennce weight of oxygen
is 64 grams
