Solution

Answer : A - CuSO4.5H2O , B - CuSO4

On heating copper sulphate the hydrous crystals of copper sulphate change into anhydrous white powder in this heating process the 5 water molecules associated with it evaprates and copper sulphate turns anyhydrous thus changing in to white. The blue colour of hydrous copper sulphate is due to formation of co-ordination bond with water molecule when these water molecule removed on heating the colour of copper sulphate changed to white

The reaction is
Hydrated copper sulphate (blue) →← anhydrous copper sulphate (white) + water
CuSO4.5H2O (s) ⇌ CuSO4 (s) + 5H2O (g)
