Solution

The correct option is A diffusion of charges
In forward bias of p-n junction diode, p-type is connected to the positive terminal of the battery and n-type is connected to the negative terminal of the battery. Hence, electrons are attracted towards positive terminal of the battery and holes are attracted towards negative terminal of the battery. Thus, electrons get captured into the hole and leaves the hole. The process will continued and current will flow due to diffusion of electrons and holes.
