Tollen's test is given by those compounds which contain free aldehydic group as can be seen CH3COCH3 does not contain aldehydic group but it contains ketonic group, similarly Nitrobenzene contains nitro group (NO2). Hence, option (c) and (b) does not reduce tollen's reagent. (A) and (D) both contains a hemiacetal and thus both can reduce Tollen's reagent.
