Solution

The correct option is A Solvents which do not readily donate H+
Solvents which contain H-atoms bonded to a higher electronegative atom and readily donate H+ are known as polar protic solvent.
For example : CH3OH,H2O,CH3COOH etc.

Solvents which do not readily donateH+ are known as polar aprotic solvent. hydrogen bonding is not present in polar aprotic solvent.
For example : DMSO, Acetone, Diethylether, Acetonitrile etc.
