Why is Ammeter Connected in Series?
Electric circuit
A closed loop that forms a network of electrical components is called an electric circuit. This loop is made using electrical wires and is powered by a source, like a battery, that enables the flow of electrons hence current in opposite direction to the flow of electrons.
Explanation
Ammeter is a device designed with a material of very less electrical resistance. It is used to measure the magnitude of current flowing in a circuit. In series connection current through all components of the circuit is constant, Hence an ammeter connected in series can measure the correct magnitude of current flowing through the circuit.
