Amines:
Amines are organic compounds with having general formula $R - {NH}_{2}$ .
R can be alkyl or aryl group.
Basic character of amines:
Lewi's bases are those compounds that can donate loan pair of electrons to the electrons deficient compounds.
Due to the presence of lone pair of electrons on the nitrogen atom, the amine can donate that lone pair of electrons to show Lewi's basic nature.
