Open in App
Solution

Reason -

  1. Light is a combination of electrical and magnetic energy which can pass through transparent and translucent objects.
  2. The objects which do not have their own light are known as non-luminous objects.
  3. Examples of non-luminous objects are the earth, moon, a piece of cloth, coal, etc.

Hence, the moon and the planets are called non-luminous objects.
