Solution
During ploughing, the land is pressed lightly because
a) the soil gets loosely packed so that proper aeration can take place in the land.
b) seeds and other nutrients when sprayed are reached a bit underneath, or else birds will eat up
c) microbes will be able to survive properly in loosely packed soil, rather than tightly packed.
