Why is electrostatic potential constant throughout the volume of the conductor and has the same value (as inside) on its surface?

Solution

The reason is that the electric field inside the conductor is zero.
So, $Δ V = 0 \Rightarrow V_{1} - V_{2} = 0$
or $V_{1} = V_{2}$ , it means that the potential at every point is same inside the conductor.
