Open in App
Solution

Bones are made up of calcium. After a certain age, calcium as well as calcium deposition on the bone reduces. Due to the desorption of calcium from the bone, bone become brittle as well as fragile, which increase the risk of bone fracture. Lack of calcium in the body causes more time in rejoining the bones. That's why the old age people after a fracture take much time in rejoining the bone.
