Asia is known as the Land of Contrasts. While the land of Asia has different physiography, climate, vegetation and climate, it also has different types of cultures across the continent.
People of Asia speak various languages, profess different religions, have different forms of architecture, dance forms and music, and celebrate different festivals.
Languages: People speak Mandarin, English, Indonesian, Japanese, Arabic and other languages.
Religion: The major religion practiced in Asia are Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Christianity, Sikhism etc
Art and Architecture: Asia has two out of the seven wonders of the world which are Taj Mahal and Great Wall of China. Apart from it, it comprises of Angkor Wat Temple in Cambodia, Mud Skyscraper in Yemen, etc
Dance: Asia has various forms of dance as well. In East Asia, people practice Yangee dance. In Thailand, Ram Thai is practiced. In India, Bhangra, Kathakali, and Bharatanatyam are practiced.
Music: We can find various music such as Sufi Music, Hindustani Classical Music, Arabic Classical and Carnatic Music.
Festivals: Moon Festival is celebrated in China, Taiwan, Vietnam. India celebrates Holi while Israel celebrates Skukkoth which is a festival of thanksgiving.
This clearly shows that Asia is an amalgamation of various cultures.
