Dear student,
Preparation of soil means the series of process that is quite required/necessary to do in order to have a good yield of that particular crop which has planted. It is the first step in agriculture/ planting any crop. It includes ploughing the soil, leveling the soil and adding slaked lime to it (the last step is only done if soil is acidic in nature.). The preparation of soil results in increased porosity of the soil. increase in fertility of the soil, increase in amount of air present in the soil and also at the time of harvesting ,increase in the crop yield .
