Structure of Rhizopus:

  1. Rhizopus consists of a multicellular body called mycelium.
  2. They have multinucleated cells.
  3. They have a cell wall that is made up of chitin.
  4. They have a structure called sporangium in which spores (sporangiospores) are present.
  5. They have rhizoids and small branching hyphae that anchor the fungus to the substrate.
