Tubectomy is a surgical contraceptive method applicable to females.

Vasectomy is a surgical contraceptive method applicable to males.

In this method, a small part of the fallopian tubes is cleaved, and the ends are tied-off.

In this method, the two vas deferens are cleaved, and the cut ends are tied-off.

This method stops the passage of ova into the uterus.

This method stops the release of sperms from the testes into the semen.
