The Council of State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation of India (COSIDICI) was established in 1976. COSIDCI comprises State Infrastructure Development Corporations, State Industrial Development Corporations (SIDCs), and State Financial Corporations (SFCs).

There are 10 State Industrial Infrastructure Development and Investment Corporations, 28 State Industrial Development Corporations (SIDCs), and 18 State Financial Corporation (SFCs).

The Council of State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation of India (COSIDICI) was established after effective collaboration among the Central Government, State Governments, important financial institutions such as SIDBI, IDBI, RBI, etc.
