Open in App
Solution

A can finish a piece of work in =15 days

B can finish a piece of work in =10 days

As 1 day work =115

Bs 1 day work =110

(A+B)s 1 day work =115+110

=2+330=530=16

(A+B)s 2 days work =16×2=13

Remaining work which will be done by A alone

=113=313=23 [Whole work is considered as 1]

A can finish 1 work in =15 days

A can finish 23 work in =15×23 days.

=303 days =10 days.
