Vegetative propagation:

  1. In this method, new plants are produced from the vegetative parts of parent plants, like roots, stems, leaves and buds.
  2. Plants obtained by vegetative propagation are exact copies of the parent plant.
  3. Banana, garlic, mint, grapes, rose, potato, sugarcane and many other plants are grown by vegetative propagation.
