Draw the triangles according tot he measures given below.

(1) In ∆LMN, l (LM) = 6 cm, l (MN) = 8 cm, l (LN) = 7 cm
(2) In ∆PQR, l (PQ) = l (PR) = 5.9 cm, l (QR) = 3.3 cm
(3) In ∆VJN, l (JN) = l (VN) = 6.2 cm

(1) Steps of construction of the given triangle are as follows:
(i) Draw a line segment LM = 6 cm.
(ii) Take L as centre and draw an arc of radius 7 cm.
(iii) Take M as centre and draw an arc of radius 8 cm that intersects the previous arc at N.
(iv) Join N and L, and N and M.
Hence, we get the required ∆LMN.

(2) Steps of construction of the given triangle are as follows:
(i) Draw a line segment QR = 3.3 cm.
(ii) Take Q as centre and draw an arc of radius 5.9 cm.
(iii) Take R as centre draw and an arc of radius 5.9 cm that intersects the previous arc at P.
(iv) Join P and Q, and P and R.
Hence, we get the required ∆PQR.


(3) Steps of construction of the given triangle are as follows:
(i) Draw a line segment JN = 6.2 cm.
(ii) Take J as centre and draw an arc of radius 6.2 cm.
(iii) Take N as centre and draw an arc of radius 6.2 cm that intersects the previous arc at V.
(iv) Join V and J, and V and N.
Hence, we get the required ∆VJN.
