Solution

Renal tubules:

  1. The nephron is made up of two structures namely - the malpighian body and renal tubules.
  2. The tube-like structures that arise from the kidney and help in urine formation and excretion are called renal tubules or kidney tubules.

Hormone increasing reabsorption:

  1. The three stages of urine formation in the kidney include ultrafiltration, selective reabsorption, and tubular secretion.
  2. The posterior pituitary secretes a hormone known as the Antidiuretic hormone (ADH) or vasopressin.
  3. This hormone increases the reabsorption of water from the renal tubules.

The biological/technical term for the hormone increasing reabsorption of water by kidney tubules is the Antidiuretic hormone.
