Solution

Uterus

  1. The uterus is a hollow pear-shaped muscular organ situated in the pelvic cavity between the urinary bladder and the rectum.
  2. It prepares itself to receive a fertilized egg.

Parturition

The expulsion of a child into the outside world from the uterus via the vagina is called parturition. This process is also called parturition.

Fertilization

The fusion of the male gamete with the female gamete to form a zygote is called fertilization. It takes place in the fallopian tube.

Gestation

The full term of the development of an embryo in the uterus. In humans, it lasts for about 280 days.

Implantation

  1. During fertilization, the haploid nucleus of the sperm and ovum fuse to form a zygote.
  2. This zygote divides several times and is attached to the lining of the uterus.
  3. This process is called implantation.

Hence, the correct order will be:

Uterus ⇒ Fertilization ⇒ Implantation ⇒ Gestation ⇒ Parturition
