  • Between the cornea and the eye lens is aqueous humor.
  • It maintains the cornea wet and the form of the eyeball intact.

3. Pupil:

  • The pupil is a minute opening in the iris.
  • The size of the pupil is determined by the iris.
  • It regulates the quantity of light entering the eye.

4. Lens:

  • A convex lens, similar to a jelly formed of proteins, is made of a clear, soft, and flexible material.

5. The yellow spot:

  • The yellow spot is an elliptical yellow area at the center of the human retina.
  • It has a high density of cone photoreceptors therefore it provides maximum vision.
  • In the Phelps of the eye, it measures 1.5 millimeters.
