CrO24+H2O2+OH[CrO8]3+H2O+O2
If oxidation state of Cr in product is X, number of peroxide bonded O in product is Y and number of electrons in d orbital of Cr is Z then what is value of X+Y+Z?

Since all the oxygens present are peroxide bonded, the
oxidation state of Cr is, (X) = 5.
Total number of peroxide bonded O are, (Y) = 8.
Number of electrons in d orbitals of Cr is, (Z) = 1.
So X+Y+Z=14
