The correct option is B x=3 and y=2
x+6y=6......(i)
3x8y=5.....(ii)
From equation (i), we get
x=66y...(iii)
Substituting value of x in equation (ii), we get
3(66y)8y=5
1818y8y=5
26y=13
y=2
Substituting the value of y in (iii)
x=662=3
x=3,y=2
