largest side of square that can fix in the floor is hcf of 960 and 420 hcf(420,960)=60 hcf is found so that square side can have the highest divisible side
therefore side of square is 60cm=.6m
no of tiles = (9.6*4.2)/(.6*.6)=40.32/.36=112tiles
