Kinetic energy of a photon is given by the expression, K.E.=hcλoworkfunction.
Fastest photon travels with the speed of light, i.e., c=3×108ms1.
hcλo=6.62×1034×3×1082×107=9.93×1019J
Work function =4.2eV=4.2×1.602×1019=6.73×1019J
So, K.E.=9.93×10196.73×1019=3.2×1019J
